Our Story
Where It All Began
Hi, I’m Jennifer.
I’m a lifelong horse lover, adult amateur rider, proud mother of five, and the founder of Setting The Standard.
After spending years raising my family, I was finally able to return to the sport that had always been a part of my heart. Like so many riders, I found joy, purpose, and some of life’s greatest lessons in the barn.
Then came my horse, Colin.
Through Colin, I learned that success isn’t defined by ribbons alone. It’s measured by the relationships we build, the compassion we show, and the responsibility we have to always put our horses first. He inspired me to create something that stood for more than beautiful apparel.
Setting The Standard was built on the belief that kindness, integrity, and horsemanship should never go out of style. Our logo is more than a symbol—it’s a daily reminder to lead with respect, advocate for our horses, and strive to set a higher standard both in and out of the ring.
Giving Back
As our brand grows, so does our commitment to giving back. We proudly support the equestrian community through apparel donations, charitable initiatives, and organizations working to improve the lives of horses and the people who care for them. We believe every act of kindness, no matter how small, has the power to make a lasting impact.
